Beautiful Scenery, including O’Haver Lake at the east end near Poncha Springs.

Directions from Pitkin:

County Road 76 to SR #50; 50 to Sargeants (38 miles)

Turn right on the gravel just a few yards beyond the Sargeants Store. You can drive for 5-6 miles along this road until you find a convenient place to pull your vehicle and trailer off the road and begin the ATV ride

Description:

Easy, scenic road along a historic railroad grade. The route is unpaved but wide and well graded. It is suitable for standard vehicles as well as ATVs.

Gentle, rolling countryside with many stands of aspens adding exceptional color in the fall.
