Most of the campgrounds are operational from Memorial Day through labor Day. After Labor Day, some amenities such as water and trash service are discontinued. Contact the Gunnison Field Office at (970) 641-0471 for more information.

Reservations in some Forest Service Campgrounds can be made a minumum of 4 days and a maximum of 24 days in advance.

The indicated fee at http://www.co.blm.gov/gra/gfo-camps.htm is for a single with a single vehicle (camper or vehicle/trailer) per night. Additional fees (ranging from $3-$8/night) are required for more than one vehicle.

Campground fees indicated with a "*" require an additional $4/night if electricity is desired and available.

Firewood is available in most campgrounds.

All campgrounds have vault toilets, tables & fire grates.

RV dump station (cost up to $6) is located east of Taylor Park Reservoir on the road going to Tincup.
