PHCA Potluck and Meeting

PHCA’s June potluck followed by a meeting. The speaker for the meeting is David Primus speaking on the history of the area now covered by the Blue Mesa Reservoir. Dave has been researching this topic for over 20 years.  He will show historic photographs and discuss the three towns, sixteen fishing resorts/hotels, and fifteen ranches that once existed along this 23-mile stretch of the Gunnison River. He recently wrote and published “Beneath Blue Mesa: The Gunnison River Valley Before the Reservoir.”
